"How does the Navy Design the Nuclear Supercarrier of the future?"
by Cliff Kuang

This article is about Navy design technology.

" Things work a little differently in 2009. Now, engineers and foreman can wander around a mockup of the ship without wearing helmets or boots. All they have to do is slip on a chunky black glasses, stare at a screen and step inside the ship's CAD plan"

This makes me wonder, "What about architect? Can we walk inside the building we designed?"

Its all about the matter of time. The approach of walking in a building definitely will be very interesting when the client can see the building that they are going to get.

According to the article,
"Anyone that tries to improve a situation is a designer."

There are also interesting statements like,
"Design is not necessary about the look of a thing" of which I couldn't agree more.

For example, the Gustav Stickley's rocker given by Stickley during the writer's wedding day which has gave consciousness about the
"RAW POWER OF DESIGN".

I have found the picture of the rocker from another link so that we can figure out the "looks is not so important statement"

Following is the link to the article which might improve our way of thinking towards the concept of design.
